3. Saving Your Game (Link Your Account)

If you care about your game, and want to make sure you save it so that if your device dies you can play it on another device, etc., you need to link your account.  To do this, you will need to have either a Facebook account or a Google account.  Create one of these first.

After doing this, go into your Main Menu, which is the menu with the 3 dots located on the right side of your screen, at the top of the lower grouping of menus.  From the Main Menu, select Settings, then Account, then Link Account.  Follow the steps.  You will know that you successfully linked your account if in the upper window it shows Google Play: [Account Name](Linked) or Facebook: (Linked).

You can also have multiple accounts that you bounce back and forth from by linking your accounts.  To create a new account, follow the same steps above except instead of selecting Link Account, tap on Start New Game in the lower left corner of your screen.  (Make sure you linked your current account first unless you want to lose it, BEFORE you hit Start New Game.)

After you start a new game, make sure you link the new game to another account.  You can only ever have 1 Facebook account, but you can make multiple Google accounts.  Therefore, if you create alternates, make sure you have at least 1 Facebook and 1 Google account or multiple Google accounts that you can use.  Follow the same steps above to link the alternate account to the new account you want to use.

If you are deleting your old account and starting all over, and you want to use the same account when linking, you must first Unlink your current account before you start a new game.  To Unlink, follow the same steps that you would to link an account, but it will give you the option to Unlink instead.  Simply Unlink, confirm, and then Start New Game.

Whenever you Start a New Game, it'll ask you if you want to delete all progress to your current game to start a new one.  This is fine IF you don't care about your current game.  One way to know if your current game is linked is if you go to Start a New Game and it asks if you want to delete your current game.  If you get a message that says, "Type DELETE…" DO NOT TYPE DELETE unless you don't want to play that game anymore.  If you type DELETE that will wipe your game out completely…forever.  If you do this and you didn't want to, you will have to contact customer service.  Maybe they can get it back for you...maybe.  So only type DELETE if you really don't want to come back to your current game.

If your game glitches and for whatever reason it doesn't load a linked account like it should, load up any game you can, contact customer service and tell them your monarch's name and that you linked the account but can't get back into it.  This has happened before and Customer Service was able to give the person access again to their game.  It may be a pain in the butt, but it could be the only way to get your game back.

To Switch between games, select Switch Account on the same screen next to Start New Game.  It'll ask you to pick either Facebook or Google.  Select the service that the account is on that you want to switch to and confirm.  If you have more than 1 Google account with an Evony game linked to it, you will be prompted, sometimes, to select which Google account you want to switch to.  However, many times you aren't prompted to select which Google account.  Many times it will simply ask you if you want to switch to the last Google account you played on.  In order to select a different Google account, just select No when asked to switch the account you don't want.  Then select Google Play Account a second time.  This usually will bring up the list of Google accounts that you can choose from.  Note: If the account you want to play on is not listed, it is probably because you did not add it to your device.  You will need to select Add Account from the list and follow the required steps in order to put it on the list from that point forward.

  1. when you say call customer service, is there an actual phone number? I've raised several tickets with no luck.

  2. Sorry. I don't play the game anymore and haven't for like a year or more. Things might have changed.
